The Black Country Training Hub is pleased to share the opportunity to deliver Health Literacy training in collaboration with the Knowledge and Library Hub. Please note this training opportunity is currently for Allied Health Professionals and Nurses only; however, it may become available for other professional at a later date.
We are offering two sessions:
- 15-minute Introduction to Health Literacy, to learn what health literacy is and how it impacts both the local and national population.
- 1-hour Accredited Session Health Literacy Awareness Training to gain a deeper understanding of why health literacy is important, discover literacy levels, and be introduced to tools and techniques to help combat low health literacy.
These sessions are a great opportunity to build your knowledge and develop practical skills to support patients and communities more effectively.
